Supporting Our Community
As a whole team, we are keen to support the local community. This year we selected Pilgrims Hospices as our “Charity of the Year”, and we have supported Demelza Children's Hospices, The Fifth Trust, and Redwalls (Strode Park) Care Home.
To support Pilgrims Hospice, we have; volunteered at their Summer 2025 Fair in Ashford, carried out Christmas tree recycling, completed a sponsored Folkestone Downs hike, Pilgrims Way challenge, donated £1 for every MOT we did in May & customers also donated, paid for and given away free Christmas Draw raffle tickets & sold additional tickets to our customers, sponsored Pilgrims Charity Golf Day at Canterbury Golf Club, completed a 50 mile virtual walk of the Pyramids, helped with afternoon teas, and donated prizes for the Charity Quiz night in Ramsgate, to raise money for Pilgrims Hospice Thanet.
We donated Christmas gifts to Fifth Trust for their 170 students and to Demelza Children's Hospice, and Easter Eggs to Red Walls (Strode Park). We also sponsored beehives at Foxes Honey last summer.
We will be continuing to raise money for Pilgrims with a donation made for every service that customers book between 1st June & 31st August, supporting the Golf Day, Christmas Raffle, and tree recycling & we'll be raffling an Easter Hamper next year.
